My story
I spent a decade building my career at Google, where I experienced the highs and challenges of corporate life. I experienced relocations, promotions, reorgs, leadership transitions, and everything in between. The challenges and rewards of my career have given me the experience and perspective to grow both personally and professionally.
Over the years, I struggled with self-doubt and the constant pressure to prove myself, especially as a woman of color. I often found myself second guessing whether I belonged, hesitating to speak up in meetings, and downplaying my own accomplishments. At one point, a manager told me to “be more confident,” but I wasn’t sure what that actually looked like in practice. Over time, I came to understand that while my work spoke for itself, being recognized also required finding my voice, one that is grounded in authenticity.
In 2021, everything shifted when a colleague introduced me to coaching. I discovered what truly mattered to me, and it completely changed the way I showed up in both work and life. This experience became the turning point that sparked my own journey into coaching. In 2022, I got my certification through the Co-Active Training Institute and became an Associate Certified Coach (ACC) with the International Coaching Federation (ICF).
By 2025, I spent 150+ hours coaching colleagues internally, helping them show up more confidently and authentically. I realized so many were facing the same doubts and moments of feeling unseen. Seeing the impact I had on their lives lit a fire in me, I knew I wanted to do this for more people.
In 2026, I made the decision to leave corporate to dedicate myself fully to this work. I'm here to be the coach I wish I'd had, someone who believes in you, roots for you, and helps you recognize the leader you're capable of becoming.
